I currently have a client that has 4-5 showings A WEEK! In the last 5 months of the home being listed we have maintained this type of exposure too without one single offer. What gives?? The feedback we keep receiving in that the home is cluttered and messy. I have asked the seller to deep clean, and tidy up, but unfortunately nothing has happened. We are now facing a potential short sale due to this unfortunate circumstance. The ex husband wants out and feels he cannot offend the ex wife by asking her to keep the house clean.
Truth be told other homes around this particular home are selling like hot cakes! I truly believe that if the home were in a better presentable stage that it would have been picked up long ago. Allowing a professional to come in and offer their opinion is what Judy and I are willing to do for our sellers.
