Timber Lakes ** UNDER-CONTRACT

After helping one of my dearest friends allocate a 2nd home in Timber Lakes I now have a goal to do the same for my family. This area is absolutely breathtaking. The HOA does an incredible job at maintaining the security and preservation of the community.

30 Under 30 Mastermind in NYC!

2 days with some of the most powerful Realtors across the US. These happen to be my confidants, heroes, and moat importantly friends. I am honored to be a part of this group and the accountability that comes from it. Each year I walk away wanting to do more and help more clients with what I believe to be the BEST INVESTMENT YOU WILL EVER MAKE!

The PERFECT Home!

Does this really even exist? I can honestly say I have at one point been in 80% of the homes in Davis County at one point in my life (my mom has been in real estate for almost 40 years). That being said there are many things I love when I see homes, but there is always at 1 attribute that is just not quite perfect.

So, let’s chat~ what would your dream home have? Where would it be located? What kind of style home do you prefer? How many bedrooms/baths?

Here goes a list of what I would want:

A South or West facing 2-story in Centerville. Within walking distance of places to eat and shop. 5 bedrooms upstairs with 3 bathrooms (my husband gets ready for work at 2 AM). On the main would be an office to the right or left of the front door. The office would have built-in shelves. Opposite of the office with be a living room/guest entry room. The main floor would have a laundry room with a mudroom attached coming off of the 3-4 car garage. The kitchen would have grey or white cabinetry with a HUGE pantry! The kitchen would open up to the family room for a great open concept vibe. The backyard would be covered in lush mature trees and a decent enough size for entertaining. Not super picky on the basement depending on the price point of the home. If it is under $500k (ha dreaming) then the basement would not even need to be finished. If the price point was above $700k then I would need a walk-out with a kitchen for rental purposes.

Ok, now universe get to work on creating this home for me ๐Ÿ˜‰

Movie Review

Summer is HOT and a great time to sneak away in a cool theater for a few hours. If you wonder if you can buy tickets at the movie theater in person,ย Yes, you can go to the movie theater, or even go online, and buy tickets for showings on any day that you want, and you can even buy advance tickets for a movie. I am lucky enough to be a part of the Salt Lake’s film society and therefore I get to screen movies before they come out! My Mr. also gets to join and it makes for a great date night for us!

The last movie we saw was Pixels in 3D. I do not know about you, but any movie in 3D is always cool to me! The story line of the film was a tad dull, but the effects made the hour and forty minutes well worth it my time. Adam Sandler does a decent enough job too. Definitely go see it with the kids! Buy yourself some FroYo and you will enjoy the experience that much more ๐Ÿ˜€

Next we are seeing “Southpaw” and I am REALLY looking forward to it! Stay tuned I will update you in regards to the film and what my husband and I think of it.

HAPPY TUESDAY~ I AM OFF TO SHOW HOMES!

National Association of REALTORS

I just returned home from a fabulous week in Chicago with my fello 30 Under 30’s for the last 15 years! What a incredible group of Realtors. We had the opportunity to mastermind as a whole and I truly feel so blessed to be able to learn from such phenomenal agents in my industry. Upon returning I have set many new goals for myself, business, and future clients. I am truly looking forward to implementing them into my daily life and the way in which I conduct my business.

What Buyers Really Want in a Home

Here is a list of the top 10 things buyers want in their next house:

1. Bigger great rooms with a nice open floor plan.
2. Grand master bathroom (who doesn’t want this?)
3. A green home with energy efficiency. Can I just say my $10 power bill ROCKS!
4. Walk-out basement for those naughty children, ha ha.
5. Higher ceilings, not just vaulted ceilings, rather a 8 or higher foot ceiling.
6. 3rd car garage
7. Kitchen pantry-A MUST!
8. The “newness factor”. A lot of my buyers do not want to do work to the home prior to moving in.
9. Central air (kind of a given, right?!)
10. Outdoor entertainment space for summer nights!

Have a great day!
